  • Abstract:
  • Today’s managerial role is a real balancing act: to be present when needed, to know how to keep in the background while still remaining available, to be firm without becoming a dictator! To be effective, you must adapt yourself to the situations and the people you meet, and in order to do this, you must adopt different management styles. This training presents the essential criteria for choosing a management style adapted to the situation: a person’s autonomy. You must be able to evaluate the autonomy of your staff in order to adopt the appropriate style. You therefore need to learn the four styles available to you.
    The mastery of these styles is a real asset. Not only will this allow you to adapt yourself to each member of your staff ’s particular situation, but it’s also a tool for developing people’s autonomy. You can also vary the style during a management interviewing accordance with the direction the interview takes. This training therefore goes beyond a simple presentation of styles. It will help you practice using these styles as an authentic management tool.
